Alexandra and Alejandra are two twin sisters who are volunteers at the European Universities Volleyball Championship. The twin sisters are studying at the University of Minho and became aware of the competition through the University’s social media. Let's know more about them!

1. What motivated you to sign up as a volunteer?

We wanted to do something different, learn new things and get out of our comfort zone.

2. Why did you both come?

We applied to be volunteers because we like to share moments together and we knew that this experience would be very enriching for us.

3. What tasks are you allocated to? What do you do every day?

We are assigned to the results management. Basically, what we do is score the points and record everything that happens during the games.

4. What do you think of the competition?

It has been a very good competition. The teams have an impressive level and quality, which makes the game very competitive and unpredictable.

5. Are you enjoying the experience? Would you recommend it?

Yes totally, it was our first time participating in a volunteering and for sure it won't be the last. It is an amazing opportunity that we think everyone should experience.

6. What has been your favorite moment so far?

I'm not sure if it would be considered a moment, but our favorite part is the fact that we chose the results management area, since while we perform the tasks that correspond to us, we also have the advantage of witnessing each game and enjoying its atmosphere.
